Reuben Shandler has always been engaged in activities and involved at BZBI beginning from his preschool years, through supplemental Hebrew School days, and currently, serving as a role model in our synagogue’s Shabbat Youth Program as a madrich (peer leader) along with his leadership on the Youth Board of Mercaz Jewish Philly Teens. From his earlier days to now, Reuben can be found with his head always in a book. There is no doubt this teen will continue to gather knowledge in anything he finds of interest in the life he has set out in front of him.
